WHAT IS SPORTS VISION / MENTAL TRAINING?

Sports Vision/Mental training is the ability to:

  • Coordinate proper eye movements with the body.

  • Maintain concentration during an athletic event or performance.

  • Make quick and accurate decisions on and off the field or court.

  • Visualize yourself doing your sport or activity.

  • Pay attention to coach’s instruction during practice and game time.

Many mistakes such as miss-hitting a baseball, dropping a pass in football, safety and academic failures (i.e., reading and writing skills) can be attributed to visual defects.
