Vision Clinics

Put simply, the Sports Vision Program gives the weekend, scholastic, amateur, and professional athlete a new way to look at their game. The Sports Vision Program is a method of instruction that incorporates visual exercise, with unique on-court and on-field training. In some instances, immediate success is achieved.

While to most people the concept of Sports Vision is new, Harvey Ratner has used his unique system for the past 40 years.

The University of Maryland adopted the program in its Physical Education Department in 1982. The concept of visual training has since carried over to many professional and collegiate sports in addition to associations such as the National Football League Officials, Virginia Drivers Education Program, and Montgomery County, MD. Senior Citizens Program.

To promote Sports Vision, H.R.A. will conduct vision seminars and clinics to explain how students, athletes, senior citizens and employees can improve their skills on and off the court or field.

H.R.A. will perform some basic vision screening tests to check depth perception, ability to focus, rapid eye movement, and other visual skills which are important to everyone.

After completing the tests, the student will head for the field or court.
